Christ Town Primary

Christ Town Primary

On the 24th September 2010, guests at the African Revival annual fundraising ball started something really amazing. We  appealed for help for about Christ Town Primary School in Maridi. They had only one mud hut classroom between 1,000 pupils, and no decent sanitation.

We are thrilled to announce that thanks to their support Christ Town Primary School is now a fully functioning school, with 3 equipped classroom blocks and 3 blocks of modern latrines. Not only do the children now have a fantastic space to learn in, their health is also protected thanks to the sanitation we have been able to deliver.

What happens next?: Infrastructure is just the first step. Our hope for the future is to leave a lasting legacy of quality education by training teachers, providing resources, and supporting the community to sustain their school.
