Changing Lives in Zambia, Uganda and South Sudan
African Revival works in Zambia, Uganda and South Sudan to provide children with a quality education.

We work with communities in Uganda, Zambia and South Sudan to provide schools with the resources they need to provide children with a quality education. We build classrooms, latrines and washroom facilities. We train teachers and we establish parent-teacher associations to promote an ownership of the education projects. We want our efforts to be sustained by the community to offer more chances for future generations.
Why Education
Education is the most powerful tool to achieve sustainable development in the world's poorest countries. No country has ever achieved sustainable economic development without first having 50% of its population able to read and write.
The Need
80% of the world's poorest countries are in Africa and over 50% of the population is under the age of 16.
38 million children in Africa are not in school and 80% of those children are in rural areas.
A child born to a literate mother is 50% more likely to survive past its 5th birthday.
These facts show all too clearly the need to concentrate our efforts on the access to a quality education for the communities and children who are falling through the gap. We want to equip Africa's children with the tools and skills they will need to determine the future of their continent.
