When you sponsor a child your donations reach across the whole community. Whilst project activities focus on education, two further programmes provide a daily nutritional meal and access to basic healthcare. The sponsorship provides resources for the whole community whilst providing you with a link with a specific child.
It costs 40p a day, that’s only £12 a month, to become a child sponsor and make a real and lasting difference to a child’s life. As our administrative costs are covered, we ensure that every penny of your sponsorship goes directly to the projects, helping many other vulnerable children and families.
By sponsoring a child you develop a unique link between the sponsored child and yourself. It enables individual involvement in the lives of those who African Revival aim to benefit.
This allows you to see how far your contributions can go. The result is not only a chance for a better future for the child who is being sponsored and their community, but also a deeply rewarding experience for the sponsor too.
We are offering three different types of sponsorship:
1. 60 children through secondary education in Gulu, Northern Uganda.
When you sponsor a child your donations go directly to providing a child with a secondary education. The sponsorship includes school uniform, exercise books, a plate and a mug along with other necessities to see the child through the school terms.
2. 250 children starting at nursery school, in Gulu, Northern Uganda, and then moving onto primary and then secondary education.
Your sponsorship would go towards the costs of educating the children as well as providing health care through the new health care centre we are in the process of building.
PLEASE NOTE:
Some of the children featured in the photographs may already be sponsored.
