African Revival has always worked
closely with schools in the UK who are passionate about supporting
education in the developing world. By raising funds and awareness
within schools, we can also promote a healthy understanding of
global and cross cultural issues. We are one of the BBC World Class
Partners, and our work with schools is endorsed by the
Children and Young People Directorate of Surrey County
Council and Four S.
Our schools resources are designed
to enable teachers to deliver lesson plans and activities which
feed into the national curriculum at various levels. The idea is to
enable schools in the UK to raise precious funds for our work, as
well as giving children the opportunity to think about the
developing world and the issues they face.
