Grace Christian Academy (GCA)

GCA was the first school that African Revival supported and worked with in Northern Uganda. Over the years, African Revival has worked closely with GCA to construct most of the school including primary school classrooms, nursery school classrooms, a kitchen, an administration block and drainable latrines.
In 2007, African Revival completed the construction of a health centre at GCA and has been working with the school management to register the health centre and enable it to provide valuable services for pupils and the surrounding community. Over 2009, the support that we give to the health centre will be reduced periodically as the health centre begins to initiate projects independently. Generally, GCA is an example of working towards sustainability and self-sufficiency; GCA is now at a point where it will be able to stand on its own two feet without African Revival’s intervention; the ultimate goal of any development project.
