London Marathon 2010
On Sunday 25th April 6 wonderful runners completed the Virgin London Marathon, collectively raising almost £20,000. The atmosphere on the day was incredible and we were as impressed as in previous years that they managed to complete such a challenging event- Well done!!
Annual Charity Golf Day
Our annual Golf Day on the 15th April at Stoke Park was a wonderful success and our guests had a fantastic time playing the course and enjoying the spectacular scenary. Not only did we raise £10,000 for our projects but we are already looking forward to coming back in 2011.
On 6th September 2009, 68 wonderful women, including a 9 year old girl, ran the adidas 5K Womens Challenge in Hyde Park to raise money for African Revival. We want to say a massive thank you to each and every one of them for participating in this event and supporting our work in Zambia and Northern Uganda.
For 2009, African Revival held their incredibly successful annual charity ball at the stunning Park Lane Hotel, Piccadilly. The Bootleg Beatles and dancers from Swing Dance UK were fantastic as the entertainment, and the 1920’s Bootleg theme worked brilliantly with the decor of the hotel. We had a magical evening of speakeasy glamour, a delicious feast and champagne reception, in one of the most beautiful venues in London so if you didn't make it this year, make sure you do in 2010!
For information on next years ball call 020 8939 3190 or email events@africanrevival.org

The feedback from the bike ride has been fantastic, and the African Revival team have described it as ‘a beautiful and inspiring journey through some of the most awe-inspiring landscapes. It was an epic challenge and a truly unique experience for a fabulous cause.’ We are thrilled that due to the success of the event, we will be running the Zambia Bike Challenge again and a further Uganda Bike ride both in 2011, so please contact us if you would be interested in joining us in either of these fabulous events.
